The Exceptional Women Alliance Foundation (EWA) announces that after an expansive search and intensive interview process Kim Kopetz, President, The Opus Group, was selected to join the Spring 2022 EWA Cohort.

Ms. Kopetz serves as President at The Opus Group and has over 20 years in the event industry, originally joining the agency in 1998, and holding several positions from event manager to EVP Sales and Marketing.

In 2012, she joined Intel for five years and held leadership positions in marketing, sales operations, and customer experience. In 2017, she returned to Opus and most recently held the position of Chief Growth Officer, prior to her promotion to President in June 2020.

“Kim’s career path wasn’t a traditional direct line to the top, it detoured onto a road less traveled, all the while gaining incredible momentum. Her passion, dedication and expertise in marketing and branding has driven her to be one of the best,” said Larraine Segil, CEO & Chair of EWA. “We know Kim will be an asset to our growing network and are delighted to have her join EWA!” added Larraine.

"Kim's sharp intellect and high energy, along with the trust and integrity that characterizes her relationships with others, combine to make her an extraordinarily effective leader," said Mitch Barns, CEO of The Opus Group.
